DEPOK, iNews.id – The Park Sawangan held a “Sharing Ramadan Blessings” event that brought joy to orphans through a special meet and greet session with the character Entong.

Held on Sunday (March 23, 2025), the event welcomed 70 orphans from Al-Kamilah Foundation (Serua–Depok City) and Minhajurrosyidin Foundation, who enjoyed various fun activities including "Coloring with Entong," a storytelling puppet show, and Qur’an recitation (Tahfiz Al-Qur’an).

Indah M. Soeryadiredja, Mall Manager of The Park Sawangan, warmly welcomed the first appearance of Entong—created by MNC Animation—at the mall. She noted that Entong's presence brought added joy to the children visiting the mall.

"Through the 'Sharing Ramadan Blessings' event, we hope to bring happiness through a shopping and play experience for orphans—something they might not experience every day," said Indah.

At the same event, Silvia Limiawan, Head of Sales at MNC Licensing, expressed her excitement about bringing Entong to the activity. She hoped Entong’s presence would positively impact visitors, especially children.

"As part of MNC Licensing, we are always committed to presenting inspiring characters that not only entertain but also deliver positive values for children," said Silvia.

"We are also proud to announce that the Entong animated series will return with new episodes starting next year, so children can continue enjoying Entong’s exciting adventures with even more engaging stories," she added.

For context, Entong is an inspirational character from a well-known animated series among Indonesian children. The show, MNC Animation’s first original creation, is adapted from the popular live-action series "Entong." During the month of Ramadan, the Entong series airs daily at iftar time on MNCTV.
