Meet and Greet Kiko Bubbletastic at PIK Avenue Draws a Large Crowd

JAKARTA – The Kiko Bubbletastic: Exploration of Creation meet and greet event was a festive and lively affair. Held since September 7, 2017, the event has never lacked visitors, mostly children, as was the case on Wednesday (September 13, 2017).

According to Okezone's observation, children began filling the venue from 12:00 PM (WIB). In addition to being treated to a variety of Kiko-themed decorations, visitors also had the chance to meet the main characters in person. These included Kiko, Lola, and Poli, who were ready to take photos with the attendees.

This event, held at the main atrium of PIK Avenue in Penjaringan, North Jakarta, offered a fun and engaging concept. Around 4:00 PM, Kiko and friends not only invited visitors to take photos but also to participate in games.

Additionally, participants could explore the interior of Lola’s house through a VR experience called Lovable Lola, allowing children to virtually experience life in Kiko’s hometown, Asri Town.

A giant statue of Kiko was also on display at the event. The Kiko Bubbletastic event marked the premiere of the second season of the Kiko animated series. The show has been airing on RCTI since August 27, 2017, and is broadcast every Sunday at 9:00 AM (WIB).

On another note, visitors could participate in the meet and greet simply by showing proof of purchase of Kiko merchandise worth IDR 500,000 from participating tenants at PIK Avenue mall.

Kiko is a children’s animated series produced by MNC Animation. It is adapted from the Just for Kids magazine. The storyline of Kiko closely mirrors children’s everyday lives.

Kiko premiered on August 9, 2014, on RCTI. The animation follows the story of a young, independent goldfish. The plot becomes even more engaging with the appearance of antagonists, including Karkus the catfish and Pupus the eel.
