The year-end holidays are always a highly anticipated moment for the public. Many people have already prepared their best time to go on vacation or gather with family. For those who don't have plans to travel outside the city, there's no need to worry because there are plenty of exciting activities to enjoy in Jakarta. One of them is the new attraction at Dunia Fantasi (Dufan) Ancol.

This new attraction is the special show "Kampung Durian Runtuh Upin & Ipin", which is now available at the Indoor Stage area. The show, a collaboration between MNC Licensing and Dufan Ancol, runs from December 1, 2023, to January 31, 2024.

The beloved animated characters from Malaysia, Upin & Ipin, will entertain loyal Dufan visitors and invite them to join in various fun activities like drawing, coloring, and interactive games, all set in the atmosphere of their hometown, Kampung Durian Runtuh.

Reynon Vigor Adi Sukma, VP of Dunia Fantasi Ancol, mentioned that the new Upin & Ipin attraction at Dufan Ancol will provide a fresh experience for visitors, especially children who are fans of these cartoon characters. "We are offering an experience where visitors can directly see the world of Upin & Ipin. The concept is Kampung Durian Runtuh. Visitors will be invited to join in the fun and joy of Upin & Ipin in their village," Reynon told MNC Portal Indonesia at Dufan Ancol on Friday, December 8, 2023.

Upon entering the Kampung Durian Runtuh area, visitors will be greeted by several installations from the Upin & Ipin series. These include Upin & Ipin's house, the kitchen area, living room, school, Upin and Ipin's room, Kak Ros's room, and the kitchen. Visitors can sit in the installation areas and take photos. There are also game spots, photo booths, and coloring areas for children.

In addition, visitors can meet, sing, and take photos with Upin & Ipin during the 20-minute special show, which takes place daily at 1:00 PM.

Reynon hopes that the Kampung Durian Runtuh Upin & Ipin attraction at Dufan Ancol will add to the excitement of the Christmas and New Year holidays for the public. "We’re presenting a new attraction to our visitors and inviting families to come enjoy recreation at Dufan, adding more cheer during the school holiday break," concluded Reynon.
