MNC Licensing is back with an exciting holiday event for families! Join the fun and celebrate the holiday season with Sing & Dance with Kiko, which will be held at Royal Plaza Surabaya from December 23, 2022, to January 1, 2023.
You’re probably already familiar with the characters from the animated series that airs on RCTI every Saturday at 7:30 AM, Sunday at 9:00 AM, and also airs on MNCTV every Saturday at 11:00 AM and Sunday at 4:30 PM.
To participate in Sing and Dance with Kiko, visitors only need to show a purchase receipt of IDR 200,000 from the same day to the staff at the venue. "In addition to the Sing and Dance with Kiko event, Royal Plaza is also hosting various other exciting activities to celebrate the school holidays and the end of 2022," said Devina Candra, Marketing Manager of Royal Plaza.
She added that visitors who enjoy competitions can take part in events like the Kiko Character Coloring Contest, Talent Search, English Competition, and Christmas Tree Decoration Contest. Visitors can also take photos with Santa Claus from December 24–26, 2022. Additionally, there’s a chance to experience the giant claw machine (Human Claw), where visitors can grab various snacks just by showing a purchase receipt worth IDR 200,000. "This year-end event at Royal Plaza not only brings various fun events for loyal visitors," said Devina.
Meanwhile, Marisa Maliombo, Marketing Manager of MNC Licensing and MNC Contents, added that similar events had been previously held in several cities in Indonesia, such as Jakarta. The response from the public has been overwhelming. "Now we’re holding Kiko events in Surabaya because there are so many fans here. And we chose Royal Plaza because it attracts many visitors, especially kids," she said.
As you may know, Kiko is an animated series produced by MNC Animation, telling the story of Kiko, a mutated goldfish, who lives in an underwater city called 'Kota Asri' with his friends Poli, Lola, Patino, and Tingting. Alongside them is Karkus, the mischievous character, and Pupus, his sidekick, who frequently bring humor and mischief to their lives.
The series not only offers funny actions and thrilling adventures but also delivers moral lessons on truth, friendship, struggle, and family, making it perfect for Indonesian families.
The Kiko animation series is currently in its third season and will enter its fourth season in mid-2023. To date, Kiko has won 5 international awards in the children’s and animation categories. In addition, Kiko has been aired in 63 countries, including on channels like Disney XD, Netflix, Vision+, RCTI+, ZooMoo, and Roku Channel.
In addition to the series, Kiko will also be released as a movie, and it promises to be just as exciting as the TV series. Don’t miss the premiere of "Kiko In The Deep Sea", which will hit theaters across Indonesia in February 2023.
